MVA's 2009
Where to start? OK, Let's begin wiff the hottest subject people kept talking about: Kanye West the bully and Taylor Swift the kitten.
In Vietnam, the fugging cable office is lack of money so they decided to stop subcribing to MTV and pull its teenage viewers back to the stone age. We have to watch V channel and all the old-fashioned music vids and songs from Chinese/Korean/Thailand/Japanese which we have no idea what they are singing about [besides some English shouts "I dun wanna have a bf, I want a real man"-------I know, right... c'mon say with me WHAT THE __ IS THAT?].
So, we couldn't catch MVA's 09 live on TV. We hafta watch it through youtube.
And, if you've seen the clip about Kanye upstaging Taylor, you will know what
I'm talking about.
While seeing that clip, I was really into Taylor so I felt my heart like scattered apart. It's very hurtful. Taylor was being smart not to say anything after that, OR she didn't know how to react, she was shocked and insulted.
Taylor Swift has always been a nice girl, she's only 19 years old but I think she's more mature than Kanye... I thought she would cry and run away but she didn't. And then I remembered something, oh yah! Taylor's a country-music singer, she's supposed to be calm..... and btw I'm not criticizing Kanye. It's like what makes him up: hot-headed, impulsive... he's been like this for a long time, always speaks up and doesn't care. At least that's what I know
But why this topic is sooo hot and everyone talks about it. i think it's a little related to race.
I also want to mention about Lady Gaga's outfits. On that night she wore like 5 or 6 dresses, all were unique. Some ppl said they looked alien-like. But after all, that's her style, no comment! And her performance was also very impressive, a version of paparazzi ... with blood and her own way of dancing [looks like the movements of insect.. haha just sayin']

August is always considered a doomed month because we have to go back to school.
Not for me!!!

You know what, all my friends, their REAL summer only lasts for a month or less. And after that they have to go to summer school and stick their eyes on some thick books filled with chemical equations *shudder*
BUT, if u'r my friend [that's probably the reason why u'r reading all this stuff] you will know that this year I have a double-summer which lasts for six months.
And you think that I'm so lucky, that I can spend the precious time updating my facebook status every minute OR hanging out partying like there is no tomorrow.

BUT the fact is it's all changed.
My world of joy has been sentenced to death.
Yesterday, mum said all the other kids [who would go to Singapore too] were focusing hard to enhance their English skill when I was not [you see, look at this post, I'm sure there are many mistakes in it, and I'm too "lazy"- or should I say "lethargic"- to find and correct them.... .....
kk, my English skill isnt that good to find those mistakes ha-ha]

Michael Jackson
Oh! One disadvantage of sleeping 12 hours a day is that you will hear the news about Jackson's dead after 11 hours it's broadcast.
Yeah!! It's stunning ...although I was born in 1993 and I know very little about his life and career [I've just listened 3 songs of him: Heal the world, Ben, Off the wall, and some random ones in his most famous album-"Thriller" that are sometimes on MTV].
This morning [actually it's noon =))], I went surfing the internet and saw my friends' statuses. They all talked about Michael Jackson "Godspeed Jackson"__"Michael Jackson was my inspiration. Love and blessings" ....
... At first, A little wondering about what date today is ? Not April fool obviously !! After that, I went check CNN and acknowledged his dead. He is just 50 [yeah he was born in August, 1958], too young for a talent to pass away. He hasn't even finish the British concerts something.
A minute's silence in memory of the King of Pop.

What I know about him?
♥ His dance, every movement of his feet... they are just so so so cool, unbelievable, letter-perfect, fabulous, excellent !!! Whenever I saw Bi-rain or Christ Brown dances, I just recall him.

♥The appearance change !! From black to white ○_o WTH is that!! It used to discourage me much cuz I'm tan and at that time, having a perfect white skin was the hottest trend among us- Asian girls.

Holaaa !!!
Reasons why I decided to use Blogger:
- Got bored with Facebook
- Yahoo 360 [where I used to blog] finally closes
- There are many tremendous blogs here on Blogger: Chris Blattman, Michelle Nguyen
- Wanna practice writing English [my English really really sucks]
Reasons why I was so hesitated, not starting blogging here soon
- Looks like no friend of mine uses Blogger, they all go Hi5, Facebook, 360plus...
- I gotta struggle with the viruses, they really drove me nuts. Everytime i type "blogger.com" in the address bar, it leads me to "adult videos, X-rated stuff" sumthing like that. ○_o
- KK!! Stop moaning here! =]]~♪
Signing up, starting to compose blog will be motives for me to keep writing everyday. I was like..I [hafta] read thousands of daily news and stories with a dictionary right beside me. I had to digest several new words, usually odd ones from the lexicons of SAT that teachers forced us to learn. And now, if someone ask me: "what does "entrepreneur" mean?" I will definitely faint! Omg, SAT is a monster... Luckily, I will have like 3 YEARS more before taking this scary test.
Actually I will have to WASTE 2 years attending secondary school AGAIN
When all others fellows apply for college, I will lag behind‼ LOL still fight with the GCE 'O' level. Retarded me! lol
Back to the topic! Soooo, I made a [right?!] decision not to learn words by rote, I will now start to actually USE it. The rule is I'm gonna use about 10min a day to write, write, and write... no need to attract viewers...... the point is I will try to use as many new words i've learned in the "composition =]]" as possible. !! Hope this will yield a good result later [at least no more being stuck while chatting with Americans, i hope]
